Charlie Welch

Charlie is a managing director with Deloitte Corporate Finance LLC (DCF) and serves as the Financial Institutions leader. Prior to joining DCF, Charlie served as a managing director and partner at McColl Partners, LLC. There he served as the head of the firm's Financial Institutions Group.

Charlie has spent his entire career in the banking industry including more than 30 years of experience in bank mergers and acquisitions. Prior to McColl Partners, Charlie was a senior vice president, and the head of Corporate Strategy and Development for a large, regional bank with over $50 billion in assets. Charlie also served as a senior vice president, Corporate Strategy, with one of the nation's largest and most acquisitive banks where he worked for 20 years. Throughout most of his career, Charlie has been responsible for identifying, valuing, structuring, and negotiating acquisitions and divestitures. These transactions varied in size from large transformational acquisitions to small bank and related financial services transactions.
